Oscar-nominated actress Anne Hathaway may be better known for her serious roles, but she’ll be showing off her funny bone on the small screen! Life & Style has learned that the starlet recently visited Fox Studios in LA to tape a surprise cameo for an upcoming episode of Family Guy.
“Anne is a longtime fan of the show. She hadn’t considered guest-starring until series creator Seth MacFarlane approached her,” an insider tells Life & Style. “He pitched Anne an episode idea that completely cracked her up. She didn’t even have to think it over — she wanted in!”
This isn’t the first time Anne’s lent her voice to the cartoon world; she taped an episode of The Simpsons earlier this year.
