The Elephant Project is an organization that I started to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association after my grandfather passed away from the disease in 2006. Because an “elephant never forgets,” I have celebrities pose for a photo with an elephant beanie baby, which are auctioned off with an autograph and the beanie baby to raise money to fight Alzheimer’s.
Some of the celebrities that have participated include Jennifer Garner, Zac Efron, Julie Andrews, Sarah Silverman, Julianne Moore, Adam Sandler, and MANY, many more. I have raised over $15,000 to date and I am continuing with my efforts.
Anne Hathaway participated in the project a few nights ago after a performance of Twelfth Night.
