Anne Hathaway Invited to Join the Academy
You know you’ve made it in Hollywood when you receive a formal invitation into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. Several actors, directors, producers, and others have been sent invites to the exclusive “club” which only allows 6000 members at any given time.
Some of our favorite actors (right now anyway) were lucky enough to get invited, like Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Michelle Williams, and Seth Rogen.
Head of the Academy Sid Ganis said in a statement “These filmmakers have, over the course of their careers, captured the imagination of audiences around the world. It’s this kind of talent and creativity that make up the Academy, and I welcome each of them to our ranks.”
