Anne Hathaway latest talk to New York Daily News that she can identify with her character Emma as she was also unsecure about love and relationship in her earlier years.
“Confidence is not something that blooms overnight” Anne said
“It takes time to develop – at least it has for me. Emma is a terrifically insecure person at the beginning of the story. It takes her a long time to understand and define who she is, and I can really relate to that part of her character. Of course, Emma is much wittier and more interesting than I will ever be, and that’s really intimidating.”

Seventeen magazine caught up with Anne Hathaway at the premier of her recent movie “One Day”, in which she stars along with Jim Sturgess. Seventeen took the time to ask Anne about perfecting Emma’s English accent, and her favorite outfit from the film.
Seventeen: We’ve heard you say that Emma’s Yorkshire accent was one of your biggest challenges in making the movie. What was so hard about it?
Anne Hathaway: The thing about the accent that was really important for me to get was that it evolved over the course of the film because as you get older your voice changes, the way you speak can change. I’ve met a lot of people from Yorkshire, and when they left the area or moved to London, their accent changed. You can meet 10 different people from Yorkshire, and they have completely different accents.
This is one of the few questions they asked Anne.
