Anne Hathaway to be awarded Harvard’s 2010 Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year

Harvard is sweet on The Devil Wears Prada star Anne Hathaway. The Ivy League university will bestow its Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year award on Hathaway at a parade and ceremony Jan. 28, organizers have announced.

The actresss, 27, was named to the honor by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals – the country’s oldest undergraduate drama troupe – for her “contribution to entertainment.”

Hathaway, whose other films include Brokeback Mountain, Becoming Jane and Rachel Getting Married, was chosen because of the variety of her roles on screen and on the stage, a spokesman for the group told the The Harvard Crimson student newspaper.

“That theater aspect really hit home for us, for the Pudding, and we’re so excited for her to come,” he said.

Another starlet so perfect that she could have been created in a lab, Hathaway is blessed with eyes so big and wide and pretty that she could take the lead in a live-action version of Bambi. In fact, with her pixie-like face and stunning figure, she also seems to have been modeled on another Disney character: Mary Poppins. After all, she’s practically perfect in almost every way.

Most alluring as… We’re going to ignore the two movies in which she has appeared sans bra, because we’re classy, and focus instead on Get Smart, to which she brought much-needed sex appeal as Agent 47.

Interests include… Juggling. No, seriously. She knows how to juggle. So if the career goes tits-up, she can always take herself off to the circus.
